Job Summary
Graphic Designer is responsible for all aspects of a design process in advertising, digital, illustration, signs, printing and branding. It is about using visual communication to inspire, inform and problem-solve. It is the role of a Graphic Designer to determine how to send a message and evoke a response through colour, texture, images and symbols.
Daily Tasks
Meeting with clients to interpret the concepts they want to communicate and note their requirements.
Determining strategies to deliver a clear message to a particular target audience.
Preparing layouts or mock-ups of a design using illustration, text, photography, colour and computer generated imagery, using CORELDRAW software.
Presenting designs for client approval and feedback.
Preparing designs for digital or print publication
Major Requirements
Degree/Diploma of Graphic Design with 3+ years experience in the same field
Must be excellent/expert in using CorelDraw
Advanced design skills
An aptitude for crafting images, words, shapes and symbols
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong computer skills
An ability work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication skills to engage with clients
