HUBERT KAIRUKI MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY  

located Mikocheni Dar es Salaam is looking for the qualified and wellmexperienced Tanzanians to fill the following position

1. HEALTH LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- participating in research consultancy and professional development programme activities in the laboratory
- prepare mincsript laboratory and practical and relevant activites
- instructing undergraduate and postgraduate students during practical
- planning the student  laboratory practical research projects and consultancy

QUALIFICATIONS
- Holder of relevant degree in medical laboratory science  with relevant  working experience   of at least 7 years similar position
- must have  been registerd has professional biomedical engineering /scientist/ health scientific officer by the competent board /authorities

2. MARKETING OFFICER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- PREPARATIONS PLANNING AND PUBLICTAIONS OF ALL publicity material to maximize brand position
- creating marketing campaigns and working  with the univer sity exrenal public relations agency to see them extecuted
- creating and developing new innovate ways to communicate the university massage to their exsting customers
- evaluating the effectivenss of all marketing activity
- developing implementing an internal marketing  programme

QUALIFICATIONS
holder university bachelor degree in Journalism mass communications public relationsh, business adminstrations, or any degree in social science with major in communications

the sucessful candidate should also posses the following  qualities :

- good understanding of marketing research techniques statistic and data analyisi
- proven experience  as marketing officer or simiral role
- enxellent knowledge of  informations computer technology with marketing software
- excellent organizational and multi- tasking skills
- outstanding communications  and interpersonal abilities
- creativity and commercial awaremess
- team player a customr oriented approach

3. INTERNAL AUDITOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- assesing audtable units using the criterial developed in the annual plan
- reporting the results  of auditing  examinations including recomendations for improvement  of management  controls  designed to safeguard the resources and promotions  of the university growith
- reviewing extrnal audit management letter that include elements for finance and cmpliance economy and efficiency and programs
- establish the standards of performance and review surbodinates to determines their  performance meet the standrds

QUALIFICATIONS
holder of masters  in business Adminstrations with a CPA(T), ACCA, and CIM, CA from the recognized and accrediateed  university . must be  registered with organized accounting body as an authorized accountant and public  parcice auditor and have a woking experience of at least 4 years of which 2 years must be at managerial level.

The position can be either on full-time  or part-time  basis the mode of engegement  prefered by the candidate should  be indicated in the applications letter
the sucessful candidates should also posses the following qualities

- able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of principles of new public  management
- good leadership skils and qualities
- able to communicate  with proven interpersonal skills

4. PROFFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESOR OR SENIOR LECTURE IN  INTERNAL MEDICINE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To instruct student within the department and the community at large
- selting examinations invigilating marking and timely productions of examinations results
- carrying out any other duties which require  higher degree of competency technologies expertise and exprience
- participating in planning developing  controlling and running of the curriculum
- planning and designing for trainning exercies research equipment  and instructions and assisting students in designing for their reserach and projects
- conducting consulting
- supervise practical training and student projects
- undertaking  academic adminstrations duties
- providing on job traiing to junior staff


- QUALIFICATIONS
Professor Associate/ professor  mst be holders of PHD. degreees or equivalent  or M.Med in the case of MD Holders and have teaching experience of not  less than 4 years as senior lectures in the same field as well as good track recored in teaching

addditionally candicates must have strong academic and writer community knowledge and service experince plus at least at 4 good publications  in peer revvvvvviewed  journals and 6 other publications since last promotions  or has published 2 or more good rerevant books  with ISBN numbers books
