- LocationMusoma Vijijini MaraDescriptionSingita Grumeti Reserves is looking for highly qualified and motivated candidate to be recruited for the position of Human Resources Officer - Recruitment & Training. The position holder will report directly to Head of HRScope of work
In broad terms the Human Resources Officer - Recruitment & Training oversees the following key result areas:- Recruiting and staffing logistics;
- Coordination of employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping;
- Represent HR department in the facilitation and participation to company-wide employees committee;
- Ensure necessary company employee communication is standardized and consistently communicated to all employees;
- Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
- Tracking the probation and completion of the new employees
- Ensure internal talents are identified and developed and appropriately placed when the opportunities arise.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need including the referred candidates from the village executive from the local community.
- Management of Social Media channels for recruitment attraction – Blogs, LinkedIn, free job posting websites as well as Build new channels/groups where necessary.
As such the person filling this position needs to have:
• Bachelor Degree in public Administration, Human Resources Management or any other equivalent social science studies
• At least two years working experience, of which should be in the same role.
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and a broad understanding of relevant legislation;
• Strong administration ability – an ability to, and enjoyment of completing routine administrative tasks and drills;
• Good knowledge of industrial relations and labour legislation in both Tanzanian and International context
• Proven problem solving ability
• Assertive and sound communication skills both written and spoken with good computer knowledge and application -MS Word and Excel in particular;
• Fair, patient and friendly to people but assertive in dealing with issues
• Ability to work independently, in a stressful environment and make sound business decisions
• The ability to work through and with managers in a friendly, compassionate and non-judgmental manner;
• Complete integrity and a clear sense of fairness and reliability
• Mature and ability to relate well with others in discretionary manner;
• Good attitude, enthusiastic, conscientious and willing to learn and open to criticismCompetitive remuneration package, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be offered to the successful candidates.
