Karagwe District Cooperative Union (KDCU LTD) is a coffee Cooperative Organisation located in north west of Tanzania, in 

the central of lake victoria and borders of Uganda and Rwanda.

It is a member based, Cooperative Union established in 1990 as aresult of a split from the Kagera Cooperative Union.

To  work towards a better economic and social wellbeing of KDCU members.

FUNCTIONS OF KDCU ltd

The main functions of KDCU ltd, specifically is to support the Gorvenment in the following:-

▪︎ Provide crop finance to member primary cooperative societies;

▪︎ Provide market information on coffee prices to member primary cooperative societies and help them to secure optimal prices;

▪︎ Collet transport, grade,process,package and market member'scoffee;

▪︎ Provide information on input prices and seek the minimal prices for the best quality inputs;

▪︎ Supply farm equipment and inputs (seelings,fertlizers and chemicals) to member primary cooperative societies;

▪︎ Provide cooperative education and extension services to member primary cooperative societies;
